The West Virginia Real Estate Division (RED), for and on behalf of the Department of Health & Human Resources is offering for sell in “AS IS” condition by competitive bidding process, property located in Lewisburg, West Virginia at 100 Church Street.
The property is available for inspection by contacting the Lewisburg’s Mayor’s office to borrow a key to be returned following inspection.
All written sealed bids must be received by the RED by 2:00 p.m. eastern time on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 hand delivered or mailed to:

The following should be written in the lower left corner of the envelope: “100 CHURCH ST PROPERTY BID.”
A public opening of all bids will occur on December 29, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the RED offices located at 900 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite 500, Charleston, West Virginia, 25302. Thereafter, all bid proposals will be reviewed. The RED reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Fair market value of $100,000 is requested but not required. The successful bidder will be notified of their bid acceptance as soon as reasonably possible.
The successful bidder will be requested to submit a non-refundable down payment of 5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of the bid amount by cashier’s check. Within a reasonable time, a Special Warranty deed will be prepared and a closing will be scheduled with the buyer. The remaining 95{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of the purchase price as bid will be delivered by cashier’s check at the close.
