The State of West Virginia, Department of Commerce, Division of Natural Resources, offers by bid award the exclusive right and privilege to lease for production purposes, certain of the Stateás oil and gas resources under the following properties:
- Underlying portions of Middle Island Creek, containing 15.9 net acres, m/l, in Tyler County, West Virginia, having a beginning latitude of 39.492462 and longitude of -80.922712 and meandering in a southerly direction with the ordinary low water mark to a point in the waterway having an ending latitude of 39.477425 and longitude of -80.929383.
- Underlying portions of Middle Island Creek, containing 22.3 net acres, m/l, in Tyler County, West Virginia, having a beginning latitude of 39.494492 and longitude of -80.937353 meandering in a south easterly direction with the ordinary low water mark to a point in the water way having an ending latitude of 39.490594 and 1 longitude of – 80.935531.

The bidding procedure and prospectus package generally describes the area to be leased, including location maps, contains a list of specifically required information of each bidder and sets out the minimum bid requirements. The DNR must receive bids from interested parties for these properties no later than 3:00 pm on January 11, 2018.
