In the matter of KW Infant, and the unknown whereabouts of Shania Wyant and Michael Howard, Adult Respondents of said Infant,

NOTICE OF ANSWER
To: SHANIA WYANT and MICHAEL HOWARD
(The object of this action is to notify the Adult Respondents of a neglect and abuse petition herein filed so that said parents may answer the same to protect their interest).
You are hereby notified that a neglect and abuse and/or abandonment petition has been filed with the Circuit Court of Clay County, West Virginia, on the 7th day of February 2017, and assigned Case Number 17-JA-10, wherein it is alleged that the parents of Infant Respondent KW (DOB; 07/06/2014) are Shania Wyant and Michael Howard and that said Infant Respondent was placed in the custody of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources on the 7th day of February 2017, with said Infant Respondent remaining in the care, custody and control of the said Department since that time in accordance with WV Code §49·6-3. You are hereby notified that you have the right to answer said petition and you have the right to have counsel present at all stages of these proceedings and ALL PROCEEDINGS CAN RESULT IN THE PERMANENT TERMINATION OF CUSTODIAL AND PARENTAL RIGHTS TO SAID INFANT CHILD.
Accordingly, it is ORDERED that Shania Wyant and Michael Howard shall appear before the Honorable Richard Facemire on the 22nd day of March 2018, at 10:30 a.m., at the Clay County Courthouse, 246 Main Street, Clay, West Virginia, otherwise judgment by default will be taken against them at any time thereafter, and termination of your custodial and parental rights may be ordered by the Court.
