County Commission Seeking Bids for Demolition
The Roane County Commission is seeking competitive bids for demolition and clearing of the courthouse annex in Spencer, West Virginia.
Sealed bids must be clearly marked as âAnnex Demoã and must be received by April 2, 2018. All bids will be publically opened and read at a regular County Commission meeting in April. Mail bids or drop off to Charles B. White Jr. Roane County Clerk 200 Main Street Spencer, WV 25276.
Work consists of asbestos testing and remediation (if necessary) and complete demolition of entire annex building to grade. All permits, licenses, and taxes are the bidder’s responsibility. All debris removal and landfill fees are the responsibility of the bidder. Submit proof of valid contractor’s license, liability insurance ($1M) and worker’s compensation (if applicable) with bid.
