Notice is hereby given that PRINCESS POLLY ANNA & JCT ENTERPRISES LLC, 160 RUFFNER DR, LEWISBURG, WV 24901 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Mining and Reclamation (DMR) located at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a Article 3 permit for the surface disturbance of approximately 165.62 acres in order to surface, auger and highwall mine, mine within 100 feet of a public road right of way in the Castle – New River; Iaeger – New River; Sewell – New River; Sewell A – New River seam of coal. The proposed operation is discharging into unnamed tributaries of/and Big Clear Creek, unnamed tributaries of/and Mill Creek of Meadow River of Gauley River of Kanawha River and is located 3.5 miles southeast of Quinwood in Meadow Bluff District of Greenbrier County, Longitude 80o 40’ 18” Latitude 38o 00’ 56”.

Written Comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until April 17, 2017, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication. A copy of the application will be available for review until April 17, 2017, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above AND in the Greenbrier County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.
