Invitation to Bid
The RITCHIE COUNTY HISTORIC LANDMARKS COMMISSION, A CERTIFIED LOCAL GOVERNMENT, is requesting bids for the replacement of the roof and gutter system of the historic BANK OF CAIRO BUILDING at 320 MAIN STREET in CAIRO, WV.
The project completion date is no later than May 30th, 2018 and will be reviewed by the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) cost, (2) experience with similar historic preservation projects, and (3) proven ability to complete a project. The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.

The property will be open for a mandatory on-site pre-bid walk-through on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15th, 2018 at 1:30 PM. All bids must be received by 1:30 P.M. on MARCH 1ST, 2018. Partial funds for this project are through the WV State Historic Preservation Office. All applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations apply.
