INVITATION TO BID
Sealed bids will be received at Tucker County Commission until 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, November 11, 2016, for the following project:
Parsons Dike Repair

Bids will then be publicly opened, and read aloud. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for reception of Bids will be returned unopened to the Bidder. Bidders must hold a current West Virginia Contractor’s License on the date of Bid Opening.
The project is for the repair of an existing concrete dike along the Shavers Fork section of the Cheat River. The project will also include the construction of a gravel access road, gravel pad, and associated erosion and sediment control measures.
The work shall be in conformance with the Standards and Specifications set forth by WVDOH, FEMA, US Army Corps of Engineers, WVDEP, WVDNR and as shown on the construction plans as prepared by Triad Engineering, Inc. with a date of October 12, 2016.
A copy of the Drawings and Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of Triad Engineering, Inc., 1097 Chaplin Road, Morgantown, WV 26501: Phone 304-296-2652 on, or after October 21, 2016, for the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00). Bidders may inspect the site during normal working hours by contacting Lowell Moore with the Tucker County Commission (Owner) at (304) 478-2414 to arrange a site visit.
The Owner intends to enter into a single stipulated sum contract. Procedures for submitting bids, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids, negotiations with lowest bidder, and other pertinent information are contained in the Contract Documents. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, select any and all alternates in order of priority, and waive informalities in the bidding. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for 60 calendar days.
Sealed envelopes with full bids enclosed should be clearly marked “Bid Enclosed- Parsons Dike Repair- Attn: Lowell Moore.”
A pre-bid conference will be held on October 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. local prevailing time at the Tucker County Commission building located at 211 First Street, Parsons, WV 26287.
