Invitation to Bid
The Harrison County West Virginia Historical Society, Inc. is requesting bids for the Stealey-Goff-Vance House located at 123 West Main Street, Clarksburg, WV.
The project includes:
1. Sill and foundation repairs
2. Porch repair
The project completion date is no later than June 30, 2016 and will be reviewed by the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) cost, (2) experience with similar historic preservation projects, and (3) proven ability to complete a project. The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
The bid package is available by calling 304-709-4902 or via email at [email protected]. The property will be open for a mandatory pre-bid walk-through on Thursday, August 6 by appointment.
