REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
Friends of the Cheat (FOC) is soliciting responses from consultants to design and construct improvements to one (1) active treatment system to treat acid mine drainage in the Cheat River watershed in Preston County. FOC will seek proposals from qualified engineering firms for professional services necessary to provide design and construction services for the proposed project.

Prospective firms must register with FOC by submitting a written Statement of Qualifications which must be received later than 4:00 pm on March 1, 2016. FOC will then issue the RFP to all approved firms who wish to be considered. For a copy of the RFQ, please contact David Petry at: [email protected].

Petitioner, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, is seeking continued legal and physical custody of said children, and/or Termination of Parental Rights. It appearing that the whereabouts of Fredrick Brooks, any known or unknown father, or of any named or unnamed father, or of anyone claiming paternity of infant child, Kylie Snider, is presently unknown at this time, it is ORDERED that Fredrick Brooks, or any known or unknown father, or any named or unnamed father, or anyone claiming paternity of infant child, Kylie Snider, appear in the Office of the Honorable Robert A. Burnside, Jr., Judge of the Circuit Court of Raleigh County, West Virginia, for a Dispositional Hearing of Respondent Fredrick Brooks and a Permanency Review Hearing as to the Burger Children, on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., of that day and object, or make other defense, to the Petition, otherwise guardianship of the children may be granted to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, the parental rights of the father and mother terminated. Further, it is hereby ORDERED that Fredrick Brooks, or any known or unknown father, or any named or unnamed father, or anyone claiming paternity of infant child, Kylie Snider, be advised of his right to have counsel at every stage of these proceedings and that counsel will be appointed if they cannot pay for the services of counsel and that such proceedings may result in the severance of parental rights and the transfer of custody of said children unto the Petitioner.
