NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONVEYANCE
OF UNITED METHODIST CHURCH PROPERTY
(JAKES RUN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH)
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church will, on or after November 1, 2016 upon the payment of the sum of Two Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($2,700.00) in cash, QUITCLAIM, SELL, and CONVEY to Teddie K. Moore, Sherry I. Frazier and Jeffrey Todd Moore, all of their right, title and interest, in and to that certain lot or parcel of land situated in Clay District, Monongalia County, West Virginia, and bounded and described as follows, to-wit:
BEGINNING at a point by the side or bound_ry of the public road and running along side of said road North 95 feet; thence running East 119 feet; thence running South 95 feet and then running West 119 feet to place of beginning, and containing one quarter acre, more or less.
And being the same property conveyed from Perry W. Moore and Sarah M. Moore, his wife, to F M. Eddy, I. L. Eddy, Thomp Wilson, L. S. Wells, D. G. Hawkins, Gilbert Eddy, and F. H. Moore, the Trustees of Jakes Run Methodist Episcopal Church of the Basnettville Circuit or charge of the West Virginia Annual Conference by Deed dated the 1st day of November, 1926 and of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Monongalia County, West Virginia in Deed Book 214, at page 101.
Said Church having been declared discontinued and/or abandoned by the regular 2015 session of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
