CITY OF BLUEFIELD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BLUEFIELD BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING To the Citizens of the City of Bluefield; And other interested parties. You are hereby notified and you will please take notice that on the 22nd day of November, 11:30 a.m., in the Board of Directors Room of the City of Bluefield, the new Municipal Complex, at 200 Rogers Street, Bluefield, West Virginia, the City Board of Directors of the City of Bluefield will hold a Public Hearing for the purpose of considering a proposal to vacate, abandon, and discontinue a portion of High Street, approximately 15 ft. wide and being approximately 520 ft. long. Beginning at the intersection of a 30 ft. right of way and the 15 ft. right of way on High Street, and also being the southwest corner of tax map 18, parcel 106, running east along High Street to the 20 ft. unopened right of way Stewart Street. This portion of High Street, bounded on the north by tax map 18, parcel 106, tax map 18, parcel 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, Sec. B High Street, bounded on the east by the 20 ft. unopened right of way of Stewart Street, bounded on the south by tax map 18, parcel 217, 216, 215, 214, 213, 212, 211, Sec. 901 and tax map 18, parcel 207, 206, 205, 204, 202, 201, 200, Sec. 900, bounded on the west by the intersection of a 30 ft. right of way and the 15 ft. right of way at High Street. The City of Bluefield shall retain a utility easement over the entire area of the abandoned High Street and for any and all public utilities lying within the area to be abandoned, vacated and discontinued.
