The Morgantown Board of Park and Recreation Commissioners (BOPARC) is seeking proposals for an Event Manager/Promoter for the Summer 2017 series of events at Hazel Ruby McQuain Riverfront Park. This REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) represents a publicly advertised and competitively awarded solicitation for a minimum of three (3) events open to the public and without entry fee together with an additional maximum of three (3) events admitting paid entrants.
Proposals should identify anticipated event dates and expected contribution by BOPARC to retain the event manager and performers. BOPARC anticipates expending funds not to exceed $40,000.00 in connection with all services related to this RFP. Other stipulations apply and BOPARC reserves the right to approve or disapprove and proposed business activity for any reason, including, but not limited to, safety and liability concerns and logistical issues.
