in the transportation of passengers in taxicab service between points and places in Marion County to points and places in West Virginia.
Taxi Rates: $3.25 for the first 1/7 mile
or less $0.25 for each additional
1/7 mile Trips over 20 miles will be
$.50 per mile On April 25, 2017, Com-
mission Staff filed its Final Joint Staff Memorandum recommending the application be approved, if there are no protests, after proper publication.
Anyone desiring to protest or intervene should file a written protest or notice of intervention within ten days following the date of this publication unless otherwise modified by
Commission order. If no protests are received, the Commission may waive formal hearing and
render its decision on the application based on the evidence submitted with the application and
the Commission’s review thereof. Requests to intervene must comply with the Commission’s
rules on intervention set forth in the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure. All protests
