Notice of Availability of an Environmental Assessment for the proposed Rainelle Medical Center Clinic at Greenbrier Valley Airport
Availability of the Environmental Assessment – The Greenbrier Valley Airport (LWB) is required under the provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, the Airport and Airway Safety and Capacity Expansion Acts of 1987, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements to prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed construction of a Rainelle Medical Center clinic within the West Side Office Park at the airport.  Consultants, acting on behalf of LWB, have prepared an EA describing the anticipated environmental impacts associated with the proposed development.  A draft report has been prepared describing the study’s findings and will be available on or about June 27, 2016.  Comments on the document will be accepted for 30 days, ending on July 26, 2016.  Any person desiring to review the EA may do so on the Airport’s website at gvairport.com/public-documents/, or during normal working hours after June 27, 2016, at the following locations:
