NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
BOND AUTHORIZING ORDINANCE OF
HAMPSHIRE COUNTY BUILDING COMMISSION
A public hearing will be held on the followingentitled Ordinance at a meeting of the Council of the Hampshire County Building Commission (the “Building Commission”) to be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. at the Hampshire County Courthouse, 66 N. High Street, Romney, West Virginia, and at such hearing any person interested may appear before the Building Commission and present protests, and all protests and suggestions shall be heard by the Building Commission and it shall then take such actions as it shall deem proper in the premises upon an Ordinance entitled:

HAMPSHIRE COUNTY BUILDING COMMISSION
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADVANCE REFUNDING OF THE HAMPSHIRE COUNTY BUILDING COMMISSION’S LEASE REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2012 A; THE ISSUANCE OF LEASE REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2016 A, OF THE HAMPSHIRE COUNTY BUILDING COMMISSION IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF NOT MORE THAN $7,200,000, THE PROCEEDS OF WHICH, TOGETHER WITH OTHER FUNDS OF THE HAMPSHIRE COUNTY BUILDING COMMISSION, SHALL BE EXPENDED FOR SUCH REFUNDING AND TO PAY COSTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR THE RIGHTS AND REMEDIES OF, AND THE SECURITY FOR, THE REGISTERED OWNERS OF SUCH BONDS; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF AN AGREEMENT AND LEASE, AN INDENTURE OF TRUST, A BOND PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND OTHER DOCUMENTS; AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND PROVIDING FOR THE TERMS AND PROVISIONS OF SUCH BONDS AND ENACTING OTHER PROVISIONS WITH RESPECT TO SUCH BONDS.
The abovequoted title of the Ordinance describes generally the contents thereof and the purposes of the Bonds contemplated thereby. The Building Commission contemplates the issuance of the Bonds described in the Ordinance. The proceeds of the Bonds will be used to (i) refund the Lease Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2012 A (Judicial Annex Project) (the “Project”); and (ii) pay costs of issuance of the Bonds and related costs. The Bonds are payable solely from lease rentals payable to the Hampshire County Building Commission by The County Commission of Hampshire County. No taxes may at any time be levied for the payment of the Bonds or the interest thereon.
The above-entitled Ordinance was adopted by the Council of the Hampshire County Building Commission on August 18, 2016. A certified copy of the aboveentitled Ordinance is on file with the Building Commission for review by interested parties during regular office hours.
Following the public hearing, the Building Commission intends to enact the Ordinance upon final reading.
