NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF RONCEVERTE
The Ronceverte City Council will conduct a public hearing (and second reading) on Monday, December 12, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., at Ronceverte City Hall, 182 Main Street West, Ronceverte, West Virginia, regarding Ordinance 2016-05 that adds section 809 to Article VIII of the City of Ronceverte Zoning Ordinance to provide for a fee for persons commencing work prior to obtaining a building permit.
Any person who commences the erection, demolition, moving or alteration of any building, structure, sign, or portion thereof without the proper permits shall be subject to a fee of double the amount of the original required permit fee or one hundred dollars ($100.00), whichever is greater.
This ordinance shall be enforced from and after its passage.
The proposed code may be viewed in its entirety in advance of the Public Hearing at Ronceverte City Hall. Interested parties may comment at such time and written comments are also welcome in advance directed to the City of Ronceverte, City Administrator, P.O. Box 417, Ronceverte, WV 24970.
