NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING UPON PROPOSED ORDINANCE
TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS:
Mannington City Council at a regular meeting held September 6, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at city hall introduced and read for the first time a proposed ORDINANCE TO ADOPT THE 2016 CODIFIED ORDINANCES; TO ADOPT NEW MATTER; TO REPEAL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND TO DIRECT THAT THE STATUARY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES BE COMPLETED. A public hearing will be held prior to the final vote on adoption of the ordinance during the next regular council meeting to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016 in the council chambers at City Hall, 206 Main Street, Mannington, WV. All parties and interests may appear at said public hearing and be heard as to whether or not said proposed ordinance shall be enacted. After all objections and suggestions are heard, City Council shall take such action as it deems proper. Non-English speaking persons who wish to attend should contact the City so that proper accommodations can be made. A TDD is available for the hearing impaired at city hall. Copies of the proposed ordinance is on file in the City Clerk’s Office at 206 Main Street, Mannington, WV for public inspection between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. weekdays.
