U.S. EPA Brownfield Cleanup Grant
Former Johns Manville Site

The City of Vienna is announcing that the Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) for the cleanup of the former Johns Manville industrial site, is available for public review and comment. The site is located at 2905 2nd Avenue, Vienna, West Virginia. The ABCA was prepared as a requirement of the US EPA Brownfield Grant awarded to the City of Vienna for the remediation of the Johns Manville site. The document, as well as previous environmental assessment documents for the site, can be viewed during normal business hours at the City of Vienna, 609 29th Street, Vienna or at the Vienna Public Library located at 2300 1st Avenue, Vienna beginning January 3rd, 2018. A public meeting will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, February 12th, 2018 at the Vienna Public Library.
