NOTICE TO SELL
The Wetzel County Board of Education, 333 Foundry Street, New Martinsville, WV will offer for sale by sealed bid the following buses/vehicles:
One (1) Bus #4, 1997 Thomas, 77 passenger bus with a 7.3 L T 444E diesel engine, with 128,505 miles
One (1) Bus #38, 1998 International, 65 passenger bus with a 7.3 L T 444E diesel engine, with 194,717 miles
One (1) Bus #42, 2002 International, 47 passenger bus with a 7.3 L T 444E diesel engine, with 106,819 miles
One (1) Bus #43, 2002 International, 59 passenger bus with 7.3 L T 444E diesel engine, with 138,621 miles
One (1) Bus #45, 2003 International, 65 passenger bus with a DT 466E diesel engine, with 156,137 miles
Each school bus will be sold as is: no 2-way radio, or camera recording devices are included in any bus purchase. Visual inspection of the buses can be made at the Wetzel County School Bus Garage, Rts. 7/20, New Martinsville, WV from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. daily, until Wednesday, June 10th.
Sealed bids are to be received at the Wetzel County Board of Education, 333 Foundry Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155 by 2:00 p.m. on or before Thursday, June 11th. Sealed bids will be accepted by mail or delivery service. Bids will be opened on Thursday, June 11th at 2:00 pm. Only the successful bidder/bidders will be notified. All buses are purchased as is. Successful bidders are to remove their bus(es) no later than June 25th, 2015. Successful bidders who fail to remove their bus will be assessed $50.00 per day per bus. The Wetzel County Board of Education will not be responsible for any towing of buses/vehicles that are sold.
The Wetzel County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
