Request for Proposal
Requesting bids for the following scope of work to repair exterior trim at the Bolivar-Harpers Ferry Public Library.
- Removal of approximately 130’ of damaged 1×8 rake and fascia boards.
- Purchase and install new 5/8” x 8 PVC rake and fascia boards.
- Removal of approximately 15’ of damages 1×8 soffit board.
- Purchase and install new 5/8” x 8 PVC soffit board.
- Remove, store and re-install existing gutters and downspouts.
- Caulk and paint all new surfaces.
- Remove the wood post at the rear entrance and replace with a PVC post of similar style and design.
- Remove the damaged 1×6 vertical trim boards from the side of the building and replace with PVC trim boards.
- Remove a 6” portion of the existing siding and the corner boards. Cut groove into concrete that will accept metal flashing to run continuous up the wall approximately 5”. Replace cut siding and corner boards and install PVC 1×8 to conceal the cut portion of the existing siding. This work is to be done to address water damage due to negative grade of sidewalk.
