The following statement was left out of the 2023 CCR Unregulated contaminants are those that don’t yet have a drinking water standard set by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The purpose of monitoring for these contaminants is to help the EPA decide whether the contaminants should have a drinking water standard. All other parts of the 2023 CCR remain the same.
