2019 STREET PAVING
PROJECT
Sealed Bids for the TOWN OF WHITE HALL 2019 STREET PAVING PROJECT will be received by the Town of White Hall at the Municipal Building located at 3 Timrod Drive or 118 Tygart Mall Loop, White Hall, West Virginia, 26554 until 7:00 p.m., local prevailing time, August 12, 2019, at which time all sealed Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the regular meeting of the Town Council.
Any Bids received after the above time and date will be returned unopened to the Bidder. No conditional Bids will be accepted.
Persons submitting a bid may be present at said Town Council meeting to witness the Bid openings if so desired. The Town of White Hall reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to decrease or omit any item or items and to waive any formalities therein.
Copies of the Bid documents for the 2019 Street Paving Project may be obtained from the Municipal Building located at 3 Timrod Drive, White Hall, WV, 26554 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All Bidders are to provide their UPS Address, Telephone Number, Fax Number, and E-mail Address with their request for Bid Documents.
Any contractor submitting a Bid must be insured, appropriately licensed to do business in the State of West Virginia and the Town of White Hall, and otherwise in compliance with all statutes, rules, and ordinances of the State of West Virginia and its political subdivisions.
A certified check or bank draft payable to the Town of White Hall or a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder in the amount equal to five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid to guarantee the Bidder’s entrance into a Contract, if given the award.
Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the Bid Opening date without forfeiture of the Bid Bond as liquidated damages.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on August 5, 2019 at the Municipal Building located at 118 Tygart Loop, White Hall, West Virginia, 26554.
