REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RALEIGH COUNTY MEMORIAL AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK
BROADBAND EXPANSION PROJECT
The Raleigh County Commission (RCC) will accept written sealed Proposals from qualified and experienced Internet Service Providers (ISP) interested in a partnership with the RCC for deployment of high-speed broadband throughout the Raleigh County Memorial Airport Industrial Park. The project will serve interested businesses located at the Industrial Park at a minimum broadband service level of 25:3 mbps, with preferred consideration being given to higher speed packages. The ISP will operate and maintain the network along with providing the high-speed internet service.
All ISPs interested in responding to this RFP must submit a Letter of Intent to the RCC on or before April 12, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. (local time). The Letter of Intent must be submitted by e-mail to [email protected]. After April 12, 2022, the RCC will provide to each ISP that has submitted a Letter of Intent the RFP documents and specifications.
Written sealed Proposals to this RFP, setting forth in detail the ISP’s technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities, and related prior experience to demonstrate adequate professional history, must be submitted to the RCC at 116 ½ Heber Street, Beckley, WV 25801 to be received on or before April 26, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. (local time). All Respondent ISPs are required to submit five (5) hard copies and an electronic copy of their Proposal documents at the time of submission. The electronic copy must be sent to [email protected]. All Proposals should be enclosed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “Raleigh County Memorial Airport Industrial Park Broadband Expansion Project” on the outside of the envelope. Any Proposal received after the deadline stated herein will not be considered.
The RCC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, to cancel this RFP, and to waive technicalities in any part thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the RCC.
