REQUEST FOR BIDS RICHWOOD CITY POOL 6 White Ave, Richwood, WV 26261 General Information The City of Richwood is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed, bonded, and insured contractors with relevant experience for the work proposed to inspect and renovate the City of Richwood’s public pool and add pgrade equipment, repairing below ground leakage, adding ADA accessibility, both outside and in, and a new chlorinator. Mandatory Requirements Bids should be made on all or each of the following elements listed in the Task listing. Tasks for potential bidders can be obtained from the City of Richwood by contacting Mary Jane Williams at: maryjanewilliams53@ outlook.com or calling 304-651-4259. Contracts will be awarded to the lowest responsible, lump sum bidder. Contractor shall provide an itemized list of costs of each task and provide all labor and materials. Contractor may submit alternate materials and equipment providing it is equal to or better than specified. The owner shall review all alternatives and have the right to reject them should they be determined less than equal. Contractor shall also provide type and specifications of materials and equipment associated with each task. Contractor shall warrant all work, materials and equipment for a minimum of twelve months from the date of final completion. Contractor shall provide a timeline for completion from the date of award. Contractor must obtain all necessary licenses and permits to comply with applicable local, state and federal laws. Submission Requirements All proposals must be delivered, mailed or overnighted to: Mary Jane Williams, c City of Richwood, 6 White Ave, Richwood, WV 26261. All proposals must be received by Wednesday, April 26th at 4:00 p.m. The City of Richwood is not responsible for delays in the delivery of the mail by the U.S. Postal Service, private couriers, or the inter-office mail system. It is the sole responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that its proposal reaches the office of the City of Richwood by the designated date and hour. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on location at Richwood City Pool on April 13, 2022 at 1 PM. Contact Mary Jane Williams if additional pre-bid opportunities are needed.
