SUITE 105 102 PICKERING WAY EXTON, PA 19341 Location: INSTITUTE, KANAWHA COUNTY Latitude: 38:23:20 Longitude: 81:47:45 Receiving Stream: KANAWHA RIVER Activity: Operate and maintain a disposal system and best management practices for the direct discharge of treated storm water through Outlet 001, treated sanitary waste water through Outlet 101 and untreated storm water through Outlet 002 and 004 into the Kanawha River in the vicinity of Mile Point 48.2. An antidegradation review has been conducted and Tier 1 protection is afforded for the uses specified in 47 CSR 2, Section 6. Business conducted: Formerly a commercial cargo tank cleaning facility which washed the interior and exterior surfaces of tank trailers, ISO containers and intermediate bulk containers. Implementation: N On the basis of review of the application, the “Water Pollution Control Act (Chapter 22, Article 11-8(a)),” and the “West Virginia Legislative Rules,” the State of West Virginia will act on the above application. Any interested person may submit written comments on the draft permit and may request a public hearing by addressing such to the Director of the Division of Water and Waste Management within 30 days of the date of the public notice. Comments received within this period will be considered prior to acting on the permit application. The Director shall hold a public hearing whenever a finding is made, on the basis of requests, that there is a significant degree of public interest on issues relevant to the Draft Permit(s).
