REQUEST FOR BIDS PAVING The Mercer County Board of Education is requesting bids to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment, supplies and transportation for paving, at six different sites. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the conference room of Princeton Primary School, 180 Tiger Drive, Princeton, WV 24739. The meeting will be continued at each respective site so that precise measurements may be obtained. A satisfactory bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia in an amount equal to five (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Mercer County Board of Education, shall be submitted with the bid. The successful bidder and all subcontractors will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, other requirements are detailed in the bid package. Copies of the bid package will be distributed at the mandatory pre-bid meeting only.
