WEST VIRGINIA SCHOOL OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP # WVSOM-22-B-002 ROBERT C. BYRD CLINIC ROOF REPLACEMENT CLASS II LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) Board of Governors on behalf of WVSOM located at 400 Lee Street North, Lewisburg, WV 24901 is soliciting proposals from qualified Contractors to provide all Work, including but not limited to all labor, material, equipment, supplies, transportation, and travel expenses for the Robert C. Byrd Roof Replacement Project. GENERAL SCOPE: This project consists of removal of approximately 14,925 SF of EPDM roof membrane and insulation down to the existing metal deck on the original building–not the additions. The existing standing seam metal roofing and rooftop equipment are to remain. The new work will consist of installing 3″rigid insulation over the existing metal deck and adhering 60-mil EPDM roof membrane along with all associated metal flashing. The offeror shall assume full responsibility for any costs incurred for the proposal and for the timely delivery at the location designated for receipt of proposal. A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING is scheduled for the date and time listed below. All interested Contractors (Prime Contractors) are required to be represented at this meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project location, site conditions and other relevant information. Proposals received from any proposer who did not attend the mandatory meeting will be disqualified. All attendees must sign the “sign-n-sheet” provided by WVSOM.
