Notice is hereby given that Norman Holdings, LLC, 202 School Drive, Belle, WV 25015 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), for the surface mining of approximately 85.27 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S301711 to surface mine and add a stockpile area in the Hughes Ferry seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Fallrock Branch of/and Meadow River of Gauley River of Kanawha River and is located 0.9 miles, southwest of Nallen in New Haven District of Fayette County, Longitude 80deg. 53′ 28″ and Latitude 38 deg. 05′ 48″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until July 23rd, 2022, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
