INVITATION FOR BIDS The Mingo County Commission, 78 East 2nd Ave, Room 308, Williamson, Mingo County, West Virginia is seeking sealed bids for the installation of a fire suppression system in the Mingo County Courthouse. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022, in Room 136 of the Mingo County Courthouse, 78 East 2nd Ave. in Williamson. Bids will be accepted by hand delivery to Leigh Ann Ray, project manager, at her office located on the third floor of the main courthouse, Room 308-B, or by U.S. mail addressed as follows: Thomas Taylor, Mingo County Commission president; Attention: Leigh Ann Ray; 78 East Second Ave., Room 308-B, Williamson, WV 25661. Bids will be accepted until 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Mingo County Commission regular meeting session scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “BIDDER – COURTHOUSE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM.” All bidders will be required to post a bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent and must provide proof of required insurances as well as a valid West Virginia contractor license. The Mingo County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities on the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw his er bid within 30 days of after the date of the bid opening. The successful bidder will enter into a contract agreeable to the Mingo County Commission.
