Woodlands Development and Lending intends to apply to the United States Department of Agriculture, rural Housing Services (RHS) for grant funds to aid in the preservation of rental units occupied by the low-income persons in Randolph County
RHS Housing Preservations funds will be for needed and critical repairs. The application will be up $150,000 to address these property needs and maintain the housing stock in Rural Randolph County.
The USDA Rural Housing Services requires Woodlands Development and Lending to provide the public with and opportunity for the comments on the proposed project to assure that the proposed Housing Preservation grant program is beneficial and does not duplicate current activities to make available for the public review the Statement of Activities, which outlines the planned proposed program to be submitted to the RHS for consideration for funding. Woodlands Development and Lending Housing Preservation Statement of Activities is available and may be reviewed. We are offering review by email or virtual meeting, by emailing Sandy Bennett at [email protected] during the hours of Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 3pm.
A fifteen (15) day comment period is required to allow for public review of the proposed program. Comments may be submitted prior to July 10, 2022, via email or virtual meeting, by emailing Sandy Bennett at [email protected]. during the hours of Monday thru Friday 9am to 3pm.
