Notice is hereby given that Greenbrier Minerals, LLC, P.O. Box 446, 119 Rich Creek Road, Man, WV 25635 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 13.5 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1101 George Kostas Drive, Logan, WV 25601, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U503596 to operate and maintain a deep mine in the No. 2 Gas seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Muddy Bridge Branch of Huff Creek of Guyandotte River and is located 3.2 miles, northeast of Davin, WV in Triadelphia District of Logan County, Longitude 81deg.46’20” and Longitude 37deg.44’41”.

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until August 27, 2022, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication.
