Notice is hereby given that BROOKS RUN SOUTH MINING, LLC, P O BOX 460, BRENTON, WV 24818 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number U301512 in order to add 0.58 acres in order to add 3 underground injection sites and Infrequently Used Access Road No. 6.
The revised permit will discharge into Unnamed Tributaries of Shop Branch and Shop Branch of Indian Creek of Guyandotte River; Unnamed Tributaries of Wolf Pen Branch of Indian Creek of Guyandotte River; Unnamed Tributaries of Big Branch and Big Branch of Guyandotter River; and Guyandotte River of Ohio River (Receiving Stream) of OHIO RV (Major Subbasin)) and is located 2.11 (miles), Southeast (Direction) of Brenton (Nearest PO), in the Baileysville District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81 36 34 and Latitude 37 34 21 (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surgace mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit
Supervisor at the DEP address above until September 10, 2022, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication. A copy of the application will be available for review until September 10, 2022, or thirty (30) ays from date of final publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
