WEST VIRGINIA SCHOOL OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE REQUEST FOR BIDS RFP # WVSOM-23-B-003 TESTING LAB AUDIOVISUAL SYSTEM CLASS 11 LEGAL ADVERTISMENT The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) Board of Governors on behalf of WVSOM located at 400 Lee Street North, Lewisburg, WV 24901 is soliciting bids from qualified responsive and responsible Contractors to provide all Work, including but not limited to all labor, material, equipment, supplies, transportation, handling and travel expenses (Project Work) as required to complete this Project (Testing Lab Audiovisual System) in accordance with the terms and conditions of this WVSOM Request for Bid (RFB) GENERAL SCOPE: The purpose of this RFB is to describe the scope of work and minimum contractor requirements to renovate the Audio Visual (AV) systems at WVSOM, (OWNER). The RFB shall detail the physical, programming and functional requirements for the audiovisual systems to be used in the Multipurpose Room and Conference Rooms. Provide and install a functional AV system. The system shall allow the participants to present content from a laptop or mobile device. This content from any source may be displayed on any screen in the Testing Center or Pre-Function area. The digital video signals shall be transmitted using Crestron NVX series encoders and decoders. Data from the NVX devices shall be routed using layer 2, gigabit managed network switches, rack mounted in room 150. Data150. The network switches shall be designed specifically to work with digital AV switches. The system shall support audiovisual presentation, and sound reinforcement. The required delivery is as quickly as possible after award to successful vendor. No other communication with WVSOM staff is permitted, unless approved by the Director of Contracts. Any unauthorized communication may be reason for vendor qualification. QUESTIONS and ANSWERS: Questions concerning this RFB will be received in writing (via email is acceptable) by the point of contact until 4:00 p.m. July 28, 2022. When submitting questions by email, please reference RFB (WVSOM-23-B-003) in the subject line. Questions, if any, will be issued via Addendum if a clarification of or change to the documents is required. The point of contact will be responsible for written and r oral clarification. All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the RFB Documents issued by the Request for Bids (RFB) as issued by the WVSOM Contracts Department. The RFB will be issued on or about July 27, 2022. Oral, telephonic, facsimile or telegraphic proposals are invalid and will not receive consideration. The offeror shall assume full responsibility for any costs incurred for the and for the timely delivery at the location designated for receipt of proposal. A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING is scheduled for the date and time listed below. All interested responsible esponsive vendors are required to be represented at this meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project location, site conditions and other relevant information. Bids received from any proposer who did not attend the mandatory meeting will be disqualified. All attendees must sign the “sign-n-sheet” provided by WVSOM.
