NOTICE TO ARCHITECTS Pursuant to WV Code 5G-1-3, the Putnam County Board of Education is seeking expressions of interest from Architectural firms for all professional services to design and provide construction administration for the following: A New College and Career Ready Facility Addition to the existing Poca High School. This facility will introduce new STEM offerings to the facility and additional CTE programs within the school. Architects are invited to submit an expression of interest, to include a statement of qualifications, performance data, and other material information desired no later than August 9, 2022, close of business 4:00 P.M. (E.S.T.) at the Office of the Board of Education of Putnam County, (Attention Bruce McGrew) 77 Courthouse Drive, Winfield, West Virginia 25213. The project will include, but not limited to: An addition to the front of the existing Poca High School with renovations t the existing interior of the facility to provide additional classrooms. The project will also include replacing exterior exit doors and windows that impact the new construction. A selection team will evaluate the statements of qualifications and will conduct discussions with at least three of the professional firms submitting these statements deemed to be the most highly qualified to provide the service required, rank such firms in order of preference and submit to the Putnam County Board of Education for approval.
