The proposed remedy consists of 1) land use restrictions for soils implemented through Institutional Controls (ICs); and 2) Monitored Natural Attenuation (MNA) until drinking standards are met and compliance with and maintenance of groundwater use restrictions through ICs. FACILITY DESCRIPTION: Chemours’ Belle Facility Plant Area, covers 105 acres in Kanawha County, in West Virginia. It is situated in the floodplain of the Kanawha River, just northwest of the town of Belle, West Virginia and is eight miles southeast of Charleston, West Virginia, along Route 60. The Facility is located on the north bank of the Kanawha River in a mixed industrial esidential area.
