ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS DODDRIDGE COUNTY COMMISSION DODDRIDGE COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA DODDRIDGE COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE ANNEX FF&E CONTRACT THRASHER PROJECT #060-0981.640 Sealed Bids for the Doddridge County Administrative Annex FF&E Contract will be received by the Doddridge County Commission, located at 118 E. Court Street, West Union, Doddridge County, West Virginia, until 12:00 p.m. (noon), L.P.T., on Thursday, September 15, 2022, for furnishing labor and materials and performing all Work set forth in the Contract Documents prepared by The Thrasher Group, Inc. Immediately following the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids, all proposals submitted in accordance with the bidding requirements of the Contract Documents will be provided to the Doddridge County Commission for consideration. An approximate description of Work to be Bid upon is as follows: Provide furniture, fixtures, and equipment for the Administrative Annex including but not limited to: desks, tables, chairs, storage systems, trash receptacles, televisions, microwaves, refrigerators, markerboards, tackboards, and janitor carts. All items will be delivered and installed after building construction substantial completion, approximately between January 1, and February 1, 2023, subject to change as construction progress dictates. The FF&E Vendor(s) shall be responsible for delivery and installation of materials and shall coordinate the work with the building General Contractor and the Owner’s Clerk-of-the-Works. Bidder may not withdraw their Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the opening of Bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Doddridge County Commission, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid. Contractor is required to provide the Drug Free Workplace Certification in accordance with WV Code 21-1D-5. All Bidders are required to have a WV Contractor’s License per Section 21-11-11 of the West Virginia Code, or an exemption letter from the WV Division of Labor. Bids received after the date and time indicated shall be considered invalid. The Doddridge County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, as a whole or in part, and accept the Bid deemed to be most advantageous to the Owner and not subject to further recourse. Awards may be made on unit, group, total bid basis, in consideration of product availability. The Owner may exercise the right, at their discretion, to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding so long as the intent and purpose of this notice has been confirmed with, and to re-advertise.
