REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Mingo County Commission, 78 East 2nd Ave, Room 308, Williamson, Mingo County, West Virginia is seeking sealed proposals from auto dealerships for the purpose of purchasing eight (8) police cruisers for the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department. These police cruisers shall be either SUVs or pickup trucks and include the following features: All-wheel drive V-6 or V-8 engine Ultimate wiring package Wire harness connector kit (front and rear) Front license plate bracket Dark car feature LED spot lamp unity Deflector plate Rear door handles ocks inoperable Keyless entry key FOBs Reverse sensing system Class III trailer tow lighting package Whelen light bar (can be uninstalled) Road ready package Red hite cargo area dome light Side marker LED sideview mirrors Police engine idle feature Blue lue grille lights and blue lue rear lights Black in color LED spotlights Spray-in liner Hard bed cover (for trucks) Proposals must be addressed to: Thomas Taylor, Mingo County Commission president, in care of Leigh Ann Ray, 78 East 2nd Ave., Room 308-B, Williamson, WV 25661, no later that 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022 and will be opened at read aloud during a special-called county commission meeting beginning at 3 p.m. Proposals can be hand delivered to Ray at her office or submitted by U.S. Mail. Bids will not be accepted via e-mail or fax. Envelopes should be clearly marked: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS POLICE CRUISERS. The Mingo County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive any informalities on the proposal process. No one submitting a proposal may withdraw his er proposal within 30 days of the date of the bid opening. The successful bidder must be licensed to do business in West Virginia and will enter into a contract agreeable to the Mingo County Commission and the West Virginia Division of Purchasing.
