Sealed proposals for furnishing labor, materials, and performing all work for the above project , pipeline and manhole installation, restoration, debris disposal, concrete work, and other miscellaneous items, as set forth in the Contract Documents will be received by Greenbrier PSD #1 for the Sewer Extension Project Phase B Contract Two Brush Road & Vicinity at the Public Service District offices located at 9035 Seneca Trail South Ronceverte, WV until 1:30 PM on November 29,2022 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained from Greenbrier PSD #1 at 304-645-6632 or by contacting the office of Criss Haynes, Civil Engineer, at 304-667-9507. Payment of a non-refundable fee of $200.00 is required for each set.
Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder shall provide bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions set forth in the Instructions to Bidders.
Prospective bidders will be required to file a Bidder’s Information Form with their bid to Greenbrier PSD #1. A copy of the form is included with the contract documents. Bids will be accepted only from bidders who have submitted a Bidder’s Information Form.
All prospective bidders to be registered with the West Virginia Contractor’s Licensing Board at the time of bid opening. The state code provisions of the West Virginia Jobs Act and the West Virginia Drug Free Work Workplace Act apply to the bidding and contract documents for the project.
This project includes no state or federal funds. Timing for the bond issue to finance the work will require bids to remain open for 90 days after the bid date.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, but Greenbrier PSD #1 reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defect and to accept or reject any and all bids. Experience and qualifications of each bidder to perform the work within the time stated will be given substantial consideration. The receipt of bids will be subject to the conditions specified in the Instructions to Bidders and the Contract Documents.
