Notice of Election
Notice is hereby given, that the Town of Rainelle Municipal Election will be held on June 11, 2019, at which time a Mayor, Recorder/Treasurer and Five (5) Council Persons will be elected to serve a two-year term beginning July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2025.
Pursuant to Chapter 3 of the West Virginia State Code, all candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age, a resident of the Municipality of Rainelle and not be under conviction of a felony or other disqualification.
Potential candidates must file a Certificate of Candidacy which can be obtained online at www.sos.wv.gov or the Clerk’s Office in Rainelle Town Hall.
Filing period begins on January 9, 2023, and ends on January 28, 2023. Certificates must be postmarked by U.S. Postal Service no later than midnight January 28, 2023.
