TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
The purpose of this action, filed by the Legal Guardians of A.B., is to seek the Modification of the previous Disposition in this action creating a Legal Guardianship and seek the termination of the parental rights of unknown father and biological mother, Sarah Carlton fka Sarah Brinkerhoff, for the purposes of Adoption of A.B. by the Legal Guardians.
Counsel for the Legal Guardians/Petitioners is Jamison T. Conrad, P.O. Drawer 958, Fayetteville, WV 25840, 304-574-2800.
It appearing that the whereabouts of the unknown father of A.B. and biological mother of A.B., Sarah Carlton (fka Sarah Brinkerhoff), are not known, it is ORDERED that the unknown father of A.B. and the biological mother of A.B., Sarah Carlton (fka Sarah Brinkerhoff) appear in the Courtroom of the Honorable Paul M. Blake, Jr., Judge of the Circuit Court of Fayette County, Fayetteville, West Virginia, on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at which time the Modification Hearing will be held. Unknown Father and biological mother, Sarah Carlton fka Sarah Brinkerhoff must appear and defend themselves as a failure to answer and defend could result in the loss of their parental rights.
Further, it is hereby ORDERED that the unknown father of A.B. and the biological mother of A.B. be advised of their right to have Counsel at every stage of these proceedings and that Counsel has been appointed and failure to appear may result in the termination of their parental rights.
The child respondent, A.B., shall be represented by Counsel at every stage of these proceedings. The Guardian Ad Litem appointed for the child is Elizabeth Campbell.
