Announcing Opening of Bids

The Monroe County Commission is seeking qualified consultants to undertake the drafing of an update to the county’s Comprehensive Plan (Comp Plan). The selected consultant must be able to show experience and knowledge of the specific requirements of West Virginia State Land Use Planning Code Chapter 8A, previous successful Plan development and approval. The purpose of this land use planning and implementation initiative is to integrate adopted land use plans with the County’s development regulations to guide and incentivize desired residential, commercial, and economic development and enhance the built environment throughout the County. Interested parties may submit a bid to the County Clerk’s office at PO Box 350, 350 Main Street, Union, WV 24983. Bids are due by Wednesday, March 15th, 2023.
