The Fayette County Firefighters Association-Fire Training Center is currently accepting sealed bids for the following: PROPANE TRAINING AREA-Sealed bids will be accepted for the demolition of existing 20 ft x 75 ft concrete slab. Fill, grading, and compaction of area for new 40 ft x 80 ft x 6-inch concrete pad and a 24 ft x 36 ft x 6 inch concrete pad with # 4 bar on 24 inch centers, forming, and finishing. Bid will include all labor and materials. A pre-bid meeting will be held on March 10th at 10 am at 13013 Midland Trail, Gauley Bridge, WV 25085. Contact Mike Gray with any questions at 304-640-1105. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids which are mailed, and which are postmarked prior to the deadline, but received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids will be opened on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023 at 9am at the Fayette County Courthouse in the County commission Chambers located at 100 North Court Street, Fayetteville, West Virginia. Sealed bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope clearly stating, “BID FOR PROPANE TRAINING AREA.” Bids will only be accepted from the legal advertisement placed in the Fayette Tribune. The Fayette County Firefighters Association-Fire Training Center reserves the right to refuse or reject any and all bids.
