LEGAL NOTICE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
ARCHEOLOGICAL SERVICES
Bradley Public Service District (PSD), Raleigh County, West Virginia is in the process of obtaining proposals from archeological firms interested in performing an Archeological Study for the Bradley PSD’s West Raleigh Sewer Project.
The selected archaeological firm will work closely with the project engineer and administrator.
In order to be considered as Principal Investigator for archaeological investigations, a person must satisfy the following requirements: MA/MS or Ph.D. in Archaeology or Anthropology or closely related field plus at least one year full-time professional experience or equivalent specialized training in archaeological administration or management, at least four months of supervised field and analytic experience in general North American archaeology, demonstrate ability to carry research to completion, and have at least one year of full-time experience at a supervisory level in the study of archaeological resources of the prehistoric or historic periods.
Procurement of said services shall be in accordance with 2 CFR 200.320 (b)(2). Contracts are to be awarded on familiarity with and expertise on this type of project, as well as on a fixed basis for services. All those interested in being considered for this must submit a proposal detailing qualifications and staffing capabilities, related prior work experience, fee schedule with a total not-to-exceed amount, and ability to complete work as needed on this project in a timely manner.
Contracts will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal is within the competitive range and determined to be the most advantageous to the project; price and other factors considered including familiarity and expertise with this type of project. The consultant’s eligibility to receive federal funds will be verified at http://www.sam.gov prior to contract award.
If interested in providing this service, please submit an original, three (3) copies, and a digital submission of all requested information to Bradley Public Service District, and one (1) copy and a digital submission to Region I Planning & Development Council no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2023. It is the responsibility of the respondent to ensure the receipt of the proposal by the date and time specified.

Attention is directed to the fact that the proposed project may be undertaken through funding including but not limited to West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection Clean Water State Revolving Fund (WV DEP CWSRF) Loans (Design, Construction, and Debt Forgiveness), West Virginia Infrastructure and Jobs Development Council (WV IJDC), and local funding from the Raleigh County Commission.
