ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate SEALED BIDS for:
Wetzel County
Courthouse, Front Entry Improvements
will be received by the Wetzel County Commission, 200 Main Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155, at the above address until:
10:00 AM, Local Time
Tuesday, May 16th, 2023
And at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Work includes demolition & construction of new porch deck system, demolition & construction of new stair section, demolition of basement entrance on North side of porch, new perimeter porch railing, handrails & exterior carpet at main entrance of the Wetzel County Courthouse.
The BID DOCUMENTS are on file at the above address.

Each Bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by certified check or cashier’s check in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price.
The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids. If bids are 10% over the estimated project cost, the Owner will have the option to be rebid the project.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Commissioner’s Office, 200 Main Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155 on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
