NOTICE
The Ohio County Solid Waste Authority is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide services for the hauling of various recyclable materials collected at OCSWA’s The Highlands Recycling Center, including, but not limited to hard plastics #1,#2 & #5, bimetals/scrap, cardboard & mixed paper to market. Vendors are responsible for providing appropriate collection containers for the recyclable materials, coordinating timely hauling services with the OCSWA on an as needed basis, and providing transportation of said materials to market for proper recycling. The selected vendor must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Anticipated start date of the contract will be July 1,2023 and will cover the fiscal year through June 30, 2024.
The vendor shall agree to indemnify and save the OCSWA, including its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions or causes of action by any act, omission, neglect, and/or misconduct by the vendor.
With the above specifications being met, all proposals must be signed by a responsible official of the vendor and be received by the OCSWA, 176 Satterfield Drive, Triadelphia, WV26059 by Tuesday June 20, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Proposals are good for thirty (30) days.
The OCSWA reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any and all proposals, to reject any or all proposals, and to negotiate with the apparent qualified vendor to such an extent as may be necessary.
