SOLICITATION FOR BID FOR PAVING The City of Dunbar will be accepting bids for the milling and paving of Caldwell Lane. The project will begin at the intersection of Roxalana Rd. and Caldwell Ln. and continue south on Caldwell for approximately 850 feet. The original road is concrete and has since been covered in two or three layers of asphalt. Milling will require at minimum, the removal of at least one layer of asphalt and possibly two depending on the condition of the underlying layers. Road width (driving surface) is 23′ with approximately 6″ gutters on each side. The road flares to sixty (60) feet approximately 20′ from the intersection with Roxalana Rd. The beginning and ending points will be marked with white paint and if further information is required you may contact the Building Inspector, Hugh Leishman at 304-744-0217 or by email at [email protected]. Please submit all bids in a sealed envelope with “Caldwell Lane Paving” written on the outside of the envelope.
