ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the Fairland Local School District, Office of the Treasurer, 228 Private Drive 10010, Proctorville, OH 45669 until 1:00 pm EST on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 for furnishing the materials and performing the labor for roof replacement at Fairland West Elementary. Bids will be opened and read immediately afterwards. Each bid shall be accompanied by a BID GUARANTEE AND CONTRACT BOND as required by Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code in an amount equal to the total sum of the proposal, supported by a Power of Attorney, for the bonding agent, a Certificate from the Department of Insurance authorizing the Surety Company to do Surety business in the State of Ohio, and a current financial statement of the Surety Company. Bids are to be sealed and addressed to the attention of the Treasurer of the Board of Education, Fairland Local School District, 228 Private Drive 10010, Proctorville, Ohio 45669. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed as above. Bidders shall state on the outside of the bid envelope “Fairland West Roof Replacement”. Contractors and subcontractors for this project shall at all times comply with all requirements of the Ohio Civil Rights Act, and shall, if requested by governing bodies, supply all reports or other information requested by them. The Fairland Local School District Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
