General Notice
The Tyler County PSD (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
WATER AND
WASTEWATER SYSTEM TELEMETRY
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received either in person at the Tyler County PSD office located at Route 2 North, Friendly, WV 26146 or through mail at PO Box 138, Friendly, WV 26146 until 10:00 a.m. local time on September 7, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The method of bidding will be as follows:
CONTRACT #1 – Water and Wastewater System Telemetry
Unit price contract for the following: Water System telemetry at 9 tank sites, 1 master meter site, 2 well field sites, 5 booster station sites, 1 valve station site; Wastewater telemetry at 2 treatment system sites, 1 lift station site. The telemetry will monitor and control various components at each location and include video where specified which all report back to the Main Office. Add Alternates for the telemetry system will include a 5-year warranty on all components and 5 years of prepaid site fees. The telemetry includes all necessary wiring and appurtenances to make a complete operating system.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Cerrone Associates, Inc., 97-14th Street, Wheeling, WV 26003. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00AM – 5:00PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the office of Cerrone Associates, Inc. located at 97-14th Street, Wheeling WV 26003. They may be ordered by check or online at the following webpage:

Digital copies of the Bidding Documents will be delivered by Dropbox. If Dropbox cannot be accepted, a compact disk will be shipped upon payment of the following deposit:

Printed copies will be shipped, upon payment of the following deposit:

The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
