REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL HORIZONTAL MANUAL TIE BALER Mountain State Waste will accept bids for a NEW horizontal baler with the following specifications: Materials: Ability to bale newspaper, high grade paper, magazines, steel cans, aluminum cans, plastic, and corrugated cardboard automatically including shear jam correction with the exception of tying off the bale. Minimum 20HP, 208-460V, 3 Phase Motor Safety Interlock Door with Decompression Hydraulic Door Latch UL approved NEMA 12 rated controls Three-Sided Hopper Extension Minimum 3000 PSI System Operating Pressure Automatic cycle start with photo eye Dry Cycle time of 29 seconds or less – Short stroke cycle time of 21 seconds or less Minimum Hardox 400 Replaceable wear liners Removable Shear Blade Minimum 1,200 lbs. OCC Bale Weights Target Bale Size 60″L x 48″W x 30″H Successful bidder must demonstrate that a bale can be completely tied off in seven (7) minutes or less with a single operator. This must include inserting wire though guides and tying all ties. Additional warranty options and prices Freight, fees, taxes, license, installation, and training cost must be included in the proposal. Electrical needs so our electrician can prepare the site while the baler is being constructed. Winning bidder will be responsible for getting the baler off the truck and setting in position.
