Notice is hereby given that WV Reclaim Co, LLC, 2122 Leatherwood Road, Bickmore, WV 25019 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600 for a Phase 1 Release on Permit No. S-2012-93 for the following increments:
Increment No. 1 146.23 acres
Increment No. 3 152.58 acres
Increment No. 4 177.22 acres
Increment No. 6 308.14 acres
The permit is located in Henry District of Clay County and Grant and Jefferson Districts of Nicholas County, 3.2 miles southeast of Bickmore on Road Fork and unnamed tributary of Leatherwood Creek of Elk River of Kanawha River.
WV Reclaim Co, LLC, completed backfilling and regrading on 4-4-2012 and is requesting release of 50 percent of the reclamation performance bonds currently in the amount of $3,297,000.
Written comments will be received at the DEP address above until November 13, 2023 or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication.
